Merry Christmas

It has been quite awhile since I have last posted.  We have been a very busy family, lots of fun activities, Brandon is wrapping up his hunting season tonight and hockey is in full swing.  SugarBean is growing every day, it's been a lot of fun so far!  The girls are both doing well, Cadence turned 6 in August and Ainslee turns 5 in January.  We are definitely excited for Christmas this weekend! Tee-Ball

Petoskey has a tee-ball league for 5-6 year olds, and Cadence was on the Rattler's team.  She was a little hesitant with tee-ball at the beginning, but she ended up enjoying it!  She learned a lot, is throwing the ball better, and is a pretty good hitter!  Next year Ainslee wants to play and Brandon may end up coaching a team!

Maine Vacation

Good Afternoon Mr. President

Brandon and I are on vacation in Maine this week.  We are thoroughly enjoying our time here.  The highlight of today was a spontaneous encounter with former president George H.W. Bush.  We were eating lunch at Barnacle Billy's when we noticed guys with earpieces checking the place out and then we were informed that President Bush would be arriving soon.  He greeted us as he went by and was seated at the table next to us.  It was a fun experience!

Cadence is not happy with Mother Nature right now.  We came home from church today had lunch and took naps.  The wind really picked up early afternoon and we decided to stay inside and play games instead of playing outside.  All of a sudden we heard a sound.....and this is what we found!

There were many tears shed by the girls, we were given the playhouse by a friend whose kids used it for years.  Our girls liked to play princess trapped in a dungeon!
