We decided to head up to Tahquamenon Falls today. We had talked about seeing the falls soon because Cadence is obsessed with water falls right now but we didn't know it was going to be today. I got back home around nine thirty this morning and we decided lets do it now, so we threw some snacks into the car grabbed some clothes the camera and hit the road. Emmy and I had been there about ten years ago when I was in school and she came to visit. It was a beautiful day for a drive.

The lower falls are smaller but you get closer and get a lot more spray from them and Ainslee did not like that at all. She would say "No more water fall, I go back my car seat".
They had an interpretive program about sea lampreys while we were there. Once again our girls surprised us and both let it suck onto their hands. Don't worry, they create a suction but they don't try to bite the skin because we are warm blooded unlike fish. Cadence was the first to go....
then Ainslee wanted the fish to "kiss her hand" as well.
Cadence was great at walking most of the way or even running.
We had to lift the little ones up sometimes to get better views.
Who would want to live anywhere else?
We did have to stop for a rest along the boardwalk. Then Cadence was off again.
