Fun Couple Days with Grandma and Jola

Grandma Cook and Aunt Jola had little girl withdrawals, so they came up to visit while Papa was working. Of course they brought up presents, the cutest this time being these glasses.

First time playing Mario Kart on Wii

They also tried out the Wii Fit, but I think there would have been
some serious ramifications if I would have posted those pics!

taking a picture of her!

We decided to go bowling,
oh how far it has come
with bumpers and devices to help the girls!

Working Girl

Cadence went to work with Daddy on Friday. After I loaded our truck with 16,150 Rainbow Trout we got strapped in and ready to go.

We finally got Ainslee to stand on the "Beep Beep" for a picture.

Our first stop was the girls school. I took a couple of buckets of fish down so they could look and touch the fish.

We got a few pictures then we were back on the road.

First order of business, snacks for the ride. Cadence picked out strawberry milk and a Kit Kat bar. She ate half of the Kit Kat and almost all of Daddy's trail mix.

We reached Higgins lake got setup, and started releasing the fish.

Cadence was a big help trying to scare the fish away from shore.

She also helped any stranded fish on shore and got them back into the water. Good thing mommy thought ahead to pack extra clothes because she was soaked by the time we were done.

After a long day we grabbed lunch and one of us grabbed a nap on the way home. This was one of my best days of work I have ever had. She has already asked to go on another ride with daddy in the big truck.

of course she didn't sing!

Palm Sunday

Today at church the kids in Sunday School carried palms down the aisle for our Palm Sunday celebration. This was Cadence's first year to participate.

Here's a grainy video of Cadence coming down with her palm branches.

Today being Palm Sunday, beginning the week of Easter,
is a good reminder for all of us to remember:
"God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it,
but to save it." John 3:17
