KK's First Sentence!!

Last night KK came up to me and said "Mom I wrote a sentence".  I could not believe it when I looked at her paper, and sure enough she wrote a sentence (the pig can go)!!  It was all her, she did not ask me how to spell a word or anything!

It's not slime....

Anyone who has seen The Princess and the Frog will realize how "kinda" funny this is.  Ainslee came out of her room one day and said "It's not slime...it's mucous"!!!

The Chicago Browns ventured North to Petoskey today en route to Mackinaw City.  They braved a long car ride with two ladies, a newborn and their puppy!!  It was great to have a couple hours to spend with them!

Today we drove up to Mackinac City to take our annual picture of the girls in front of the Mighty Mac. Check back on last year's posting of the annual picture, it shows the past three years and how much the little ladies have changed!!

Happy 5th Birthday KK!!

Our Sweet Little Lady turned 5 years old on August 11th! We celebrated with a tea party with a couple of her girlfriends, and a family birthday party in Grand Rapids! She is getting ready to begin kindergarten next month...so very excited!

A Visit to Our Cousins House

The Glass Family had our first visit to see baby Cam! The girls had a great time playing with Paige, but they both always would migrate back to Cam. They both held him, gave him kisses and were very gentle around him, it was a great day!

New Computer

We FINALLY have a new computer after our PC bit the dust! Now only if we could only have wireless internet, we catch up with the rest of you guys!! We also just got our repaired camera back, so new pics and postings to come soon!

Big Sister Paige and Cam

Our Family (on the Cole side) just received our first baby boy in 60 years!!!

It's been way too long!

Finally a new post! The ladies had their tonsils out two weeks ago, they have both recovered, it went pretty well overall. A lot of ice cream and popsicles were devoured over the week that they were home, and a lot of cuddle time too (which mom and dad loved)!!

Winter Extravaganza

Tonight Cadence and Ainslee's school had a program for parents to show what they have been learning this year. Cadence's teacher said "When you ask your child what they learned in school today and they say I don't know, this is for you". Both girls did great and were not shy...this time around!!!

Last night Brandon played in a fundraising game for Petoskey Northmen Hockey and also for the Griffin Arena where he plays. Every year they have Red Wing Alumni come up for the event, and this year Brandon played in the game. He was only slightly nervous, and did great. He said that even though they were not playing their hardest, it was great to watch their skills!
